Here is print #3 from a drawing done with pen and ink. The ink was washed in areas and in other areas, I used a staff with various sized pen points and India Ink. I did these drawings from the real objects. It was a long time ago, and an old, old man died who owned a store in Harlan, Kentucky. In that store was merchandise from 80 yrs. prior---all brand new, and this was in 1969. He had these shoes, never sold, never worn. It was the Mother Load of Antiques. The man who bought them let me borrow them to draw. The prints were sold in Kentucky State Park shops, and I kept a stack, stored them and have just gotten them out of storage. They are signed and numbered and I have 6 different ones. Quite a story! They are limited, so if you want one or the whole set, don't wait too long! Your comments appreciated.
